get a khaki or beige blazer. it would be casual enough with jeans and a tshirt or for a nice night out. a definate plus.

I'd get a khaki/beige/neutral colour long sleeve military type jacket with buttons on the cuffs in cord or cotton twill with one of those stand up collars, or alternatively a safari type jacket in the same colours as before with a tie up belt round the middle. Both of those go with jeans, trousers, skirts. I saw some really nice ones in Debenhams if that's any help!

Not sure if you mean like a rain jacket, or a blazer type jacket.
But I'd go with Blue Jean ~ it always looks great. Goes with anything, dresses up dresses down. Go with DARK BLUE JEAN. Or you can go with a WHITE JEAN JACKET ~ that will definately go with any color pants you chose to wear. Cause BLUE JEAN will look a little funny with TAN JEANS or BLACK JEANS (then the jacket has to match). BUT WHITE doesn't ~ it really goes with everything. It will get dirty but you'll have to wash it alot. No big deal, jean material lasts forever.

I have a denim blazer cut jacket that I love. I wear it with everything. I also have the same jacket in army green. It gets a lot of wear as well. Got both at New York and Co. last year.

I got a lovely little jacket that goes with everything from Principles in Debenhams. It is a khaki denim-like material, sleeveles, shaped and has a smal faux fur collar. Lovely

Your cant get more casual than a demin jacket, and this cute short sleeved puff jacket is a great choice for those tops and afashionable tunics, its so nice you can dress it up for a night out or down when your having a phjama day.
