What's your favorite Novel and why?
Mine was The Stand(Either Version) because it was a classic tale of good versus evil . The imagery was just fantastic. Mother Abigail and the Walking Dude Boulder and Las Vegas Stu Redman and The Trashcan Man. Only the mind of King could come up with the premise. One of the best. What's your favorite?

well if i had to pick only one book, then i would have to agree that the stand is his best. but my favorite works of his are thae books in the dark tower series. it was amazing the way he encompassed so many of his other books within the series. for instance father callahan from salems lot is an important charachter in the series. they really are incredible.

Stu Redman is my favorite SK character. I think King writes great characters and that is what draws me into his books. The Stand is one of his best. I also have a soft spot for Fire Starter. It has a great main character, Charlie (the pyrokentic little girl), a great story line, and is also the first King I read.

I've learn regularly something that relates to The Dark Tower sequence, which is almost all of his paintings. Especially It and The Stand. I have a truly love-hate courting with King, even though. I consider he is a first-class storyteller, and first-class creator however his kind could be a little excessive.

If I had to pick a single book, it would also be the The Stand for all of the reasons you mention.
But, I really enjoyed the Dark Tower series.

Well, I like so many but if I had to choose it would be the 2 book series The Talisman and Black House. Peter Straub was a co-authur of these books. I liked them because they were so otherworldly, and scarey.
