It depends on how big your fish can grow. You don't want to put any fish that can outgrow the tank because it could stunt their growth. They're external body will stop growing, but they're internal body will keep expanding and they could possibly die. Look at whatever tank you have the room for and if you have time to take care of your fish.

if you want just fish in your aquarium i would go with the 55 or the 29, as space allows, the 55 had an extra freight charge. i wouldnt go with the smaller oes if you want any fish, those are coral only tanks. if you want any coral in the larger ones, i would by piece by piece, the tank is the only thing you would use, lighting, and filtration would have to be upgraded. i would upgrade to power compact on the 55 or 29 anyways but thats me, better corallie growth, otherwise your live rock will brown out, if a local fish store will give you credit on the regular flourescent fixture i would go with the 55 and add a few power heads, the filter will ahve a gph rating, add a few maxijet until you get 550gph minimium, one in each back corner should do. same with the 29, although finding a light for a 29 is hard, the 55 would be my choice.

Depends on what type/size fish you want. I wouldn't go with anything smaller than a 10 gallon because you'll want more fish than it can handle (about 6-7 small fish) and eventually upgrade anyway.

Personally, I would go with the 55gallon. I have a 55gallon now, and I know I paid, after all was said and done, a lot more than that. It's the best value. But it depends on what you want to keep.

Go with the 55 gallon, it will give your fish room, and it provides a more constant temperature and water quality.

the 55 gallon one it's cheap and has alot of room for the fish to swim in, and later your fish will grow big, soo you dont have to worry about upgrading your tank
