search the net for interesting projects to do, or read up on things you always wanted to know about, or read ahead in your school books, or study for a test, or wash and clean your room and clothes and get them ready for getting back to school or work. Think about ideas for re-doing your bedroom. watch parades and fireworks on tv. search out national parks on the net. learn new things about the computer and what you can do with it. IM your friends. Start writing a book or just journal about your dreams. chat with your neighborhood friends. If you're working then call for home food delivery. Try to make a gourmet meal or some new concoctions from your refrigerator. Hem what clothes need to be hemmed. Sign up for any prizes you can win over the holiday. Order something on the net. If your'e old enough then start a home business, or make a plan for one anyway.

Bummer.
I'd personally suggest video games, or internet games, or perhaps a nice long chat on the phone with friends...
When you home alone, my dear, the possibilities are endless! You could run around bouncing off the walls! Jump on the beds, blast the speakers on the TV, drink soda or some sort of beverage like there's no tomorrow, sleep like a cat, bark like a dog, and howl at the sun!!!

Answer some questions. Ask some questions about something you've been wondering about. Cook something. Reorganize your closet and dresser drawers. Pick out stuff that's out of style and put it in a bag to give to charity. Start a journal. Do some exercises. Write a short story. Take a nap.

Try asking and answering questions on Yahoo Answers. I hear that works the boredom away pretty good! Good luck!
