Birds of a Feather........... Why shouldn't all of the America haters be in one place? Sounds like a good location for an airstrike.

Unless Dubya has pulled some new stunt, this is still a free country!

Why shouldn't a film maker show his film at a film festival wherever it is held?

Your questions seem to bring out the worst, most ill-informed, hateful, conservatives I have ever read. These people don't even know what the film is about, for the most part. And they label it "treasonous"???? It's about the poor state of health care in the USA and the insurance companies and their horrendous tactics. (Some of this COULD even impinge on the health care received by Republicans, you know? Not everyone can afford to pay hospital bills on their own!) We are so "right" about everything all the time according to your buddies on YA!, but if they took the time to look it up, they would see that in health care, the USA rates only 37th. in the world!!!! That's despicable for a country with our wealth and our resources! Our infant mortality rate is equal to that or below that of many third world countries. (But we "care" so much about children and families, right? WRONG!!)

Michael Moore loves America, or he wouldn't be trying to improve it. He is a "patriot" of the highest order. He will take all those cheap shots you dish out, and keep coming back for more. He is a fine, moral example for the youth of this country! Thank God someone got a good education in this country--and has the concern for his fellow man that allows him to criticize what he sees as problems.

I praise him and the Catholic Church that gave him the education and morals to follow this difficult path.

And shame on all of you wh would call for his harm!!!!

I think that a film maker SHOULD screen his films at a FILM FESTIVAL! The people of Iran are not the government of Iran!

This kind of stuff bothers me more than anything else happening in our culture today. I'd rather watch 24 Hour Paris Hilton live on tragedy T.V., then spend a minute tracking the movements of the Hate America crowd. These perverts make millions off of the American "System", then go around trashing the "System." The very "System," which made them so wealthy.

I think that it shows what he's really all about. Making anti-government films that preview in a country that raises it's children to hate the United States? It would be the same as if some idiot film maker in 1943 made a movie bashing the handling of Pearl Harbor, then had a preview in Nazi Germany. If something like that wouldn't have been tollerated then, why are we tollerating Michael Moore going to Iran? I hope they keep him.

Isn't there a State Deparment policy severely limiting travel to Iran? Even if there were, Mr. Moore probably has enough money to buy himself a pass into the country.

He is a free American citizen, thus he is allowed to travel to any destination of his choosing.

Like all of Moore's past films, since I saw "Bowling for Columbine", I'm going to pass on Sicko. I find his "documentary films", to be more "opinion-mentary films" than anything. I hope the people of Iran do the same.

Take "Bowling for Columbine" for example. Here Moore studies Michigan's gun laws to find out what we need to do to prevent another Columbine situation. The main problem here is that Columbine is in Colorado, and not Michigan. Michigan and Colorado have different gun control laws, and do not even share a border, thus rendering Moore's data incompatible to what happened in Columbine. The film was a waste of over one hour of my life.

Also Farenheit 9/11... don't even start me on this one. This is the one film I think you'll see him known for over there if any. It should make him popular among the Anti-Bush crowd there. The fact remains, that Moore's evidence of the Bush administration being solely at fault for the 9/11 attacks, is lacking. He also does not look at the reprecussions of the United States backing of Isreal enough, as we have helped Isreal oppress the Palestinians who were already there. Dumble-yah was only two years old when Isreal had been re-established as a country. As much as I may not love the guy, I find it hard to believe Bush has been creating all that tension since he was two years old. As intelligent as he is now, what makes you think he was smart enough to start building that tension when he was two?

Moore does not present the image we need to show people over there of the United States. He only excells at telling the fed up what they want to hear.

What further proof do we need that he is a traitor and should be held accountable to the American people? He needs some jail time for his treasonous behavior.

Why are the rules not applied equally today? Our government needs to quit trying to please everyone and stick to the rules of the game! One common goal and no more party rules for only that party. Guilty is guilty, IS GUILTY!

USA, we got crooked Doctors and crooked Health Insurance companies

while everybody else got free health care.

Not fair.

Well, you certainly got the goods on HIM! This proves he's a traitor!

Ever occur to you that attending a film festival does not imply support for the government where it is located? That by showing them an example of American freedom he can encourage Iranian dissenters? No, of course not. It's more fun to vent your spleen and put the worst possible implication on things, isn't it?
