i bought a new car sterio.....?

Question

is it a good idea to get tinted windows on my car to avoid theft....? or do i have any other options? ive heard ppl will break into your car to still them is this true?

(its a 300 dollar sterio btw)

Your stereo probably has a removable face plate. Take it off and hide it when you park the car. Stereo will not work without the plate.
Most states do not allow full window tint on drivers and passenger doors.
