Gateway LCD monitor (laptop)?

I have a Gateway AMD Turion 64 X2 15.4" Laptop and I have had some problems with the LCD screen. I bought it on december and until now, the screen has some burned pixels and yesterday, the windows logo was shaking when I turned it on. Have any of you had problems with gateway laptops? If I still have the waranty, do you recommend to do something about it...like, a possible return?

Laptop LCD screens should not shake.

Pull the hard drive and send it back under warranty.
