Well Gigi there are lots of Fine movies most of them are in the 1950s, 1960s from 1970 up till now the only blockbuster Egyptian movie was the Yacoubian building.
While the best movie in all Egyptian History is "Salah-El deen" by Youssif Chahine and it was nominated for an Academy Award ( Oscar ) except for a small mistake and the Production was so Huge ( The biggest in Egyptian movies' history ) and the technologies were very recent as for a 1957 movie and it was coloured.
But as for the best 10 you can't tell because it is personal choice.

I guess there was a poll in Al Ahram News paper a few weeks ago about this... I remeber the first of the ten movies which was The Mummy (Al Momia) By Shady Abdel Salam.
By all means it was a great movie, at least from the visual aspect... Shady was a master of picture composition. If you pause the movie at any random spot I gurantee you you get a post card quality still image which is extremely difficult to achieve.
Al Ard of Youssef Chahine is my second favourite... Its a great movie with a great story line, great screen play, great photography, great acting and of course brilliant direction.

-Bab El7adeed (Yousif Shahin was great actor & director).
-Shey2 Men El khof ( Mahmoud Morsi was Amazing).
-Al Ard.
-Al zoga Al tanya ( I liked Shokry Sarhan in this movie very much).
-Al 3ar ( very good story & acting).
- Gary El we7osh ( The same cast as El 3ar & the same success).
-E7na Beto3 El Otobis (nakad nakad but it's a good movie for this period).
-Al keef ( for a good story also).
-Al bary2 ( for Ahmed Zaki it's really amazing bas nakad).
-Ma3aly El Wazeer ( Ahmed Zaki again,wonderful perfomance).

mmm..i am really not a fan of egyptian movie(the drama kills me!)
from the most important movies:
al ard(very nice directing)
eskendria leah(yussef chahine!)
eskendria kman we kman(the scene of miss liberty as a protistiute laughing is so amazing)
bab el 7adeed(again yussef chahine and hend rostum)
hysteria
na7no la nazra3 el showk(nakad moot bas 7elw)
esha3et 7ob(just for the group of amazing actors together)
sayedet el ketar(very nice story)
