My coke rewards has this as one option to spend your points on, but is 256 mb alot of space? If I have about a hundred pictures to store, is this enough memory or not?

it depends on the quality of the pictures, but if you will store only pictures i think it would be fine... 150 max

256 mb is about the size of 1/3 of a CD. To see if all the picture would fit, copy them all to one directory and then look at the properties for the directory and see if they are under 265 mb (or 265,000 kb) in size.

Recommand that you NOT use a memory stick for storing the pictures. Probably would be better to save them on a CD or DVD. They are intended for long term storage. A memory stick is not. 256 Mb sounds real nice and it would hold about a hundred pictures depending on the resolution of the pictures. HOWEVER, most cameras take great high-res pics ranging from 1-2 mb and above, so my advice to you is to get one that is higher try getting a 1GB memory stick or higher. Because sooner or later you will want to store more pics and other stuff on it.

well with the way diskspace is growing its a decent amount but I would suggest getting one with more space. if you have a hundred pictures it depends on what format they are in really and the resolution. If you have a hundred pictures that are about 1MB each then you will still have enough room...

256mb isn't much to todays standards. depending what quality and size your pictures are, you could always put them in a folder and compress it first before saving it to the memory stick
