The undergrad is a student just barely out of high school and is pursuing a university or collegiate course.

A degree....
An undergrad has not graduated they are normal college students, what someone would be right out of high school. A graduate student already has a 4 year degree and is continuing on to get their masters.

Undergraduate students are pursuing a bachelor's degree and graduate students are pursuing Masters or higher degrees.....Plus tuition is higher for graduate students versus undergraduate students.....
