I think that jean shorts are more "in style" than the plaid shorts... Plaid shorts are kinda dorky looking and they don't go with everything that might be in your closet.

Jean. Plaid is good for capris or bermuda shorts. Short shorts look better in jean material or a solid color like navy or khaki.

Plaid ones have been in in the spring lately, but remember, fashion changes fast. its almost summer, so it is likely that the plaid shorts are on their way OUT. I would get some nice jean shorts, because they are timeless, and will never go OUT...plus guys love them!!!hope this helps

I think both! I love them. AE and Hollister have cute plaid and jean. I like jean a little bit better.

jean short shorts. they match with more then plaid does. and plaid looks better when its in the style of bermuda shorts

it really depends....... i think that they are both really "in" but jean shorts will never really go "out" like in sure plaid ones will.

NEITHER. Plaid shorts are best knee length. Short shorts, (with a cuff), are fashionable in light fabric and solid colors. Jean shorts, except maybe white knee-length ones and traditional, sexy daisy dukes, are not current at all.

both are but the plaid ones most people wear up 2 their knees, atleast thats what i saw in ae.
