Good, it is our body's way of telling us to pay attention to something. Like when you pick up a hot pan, it hurts and you put it down with minimal burning (you hope). Otherwise you could get severe skin, muscle, & nerve damage.

Pain is not a human attribute. It is common in all animal species. If you hit a dog in the leg with a baseball bat, does it not feel pain too? Even elephants go to elephant death sites to view and sniff the bones of their dead. I think animals feel more than just physical pain, yet we carry on. through the fog.

Pain is NOT a human attribute, but an induced and/or acquired human condition/state (physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, or otherwise).

Pain is information (bio-feedback) nothing more nothing less. Its what you do with that information that counts. But as a sufferer of chronic pain (and chronic over-information from other sources) it can get a little tedious at times.
However, as much as pain can be a nuissance at times, its also a helpful reminder to adjust one's lifestyle...
...so I suppose its a good thing overall, though like anything too much is annoying.

It's both.
It's good because it is a way of telling us that something is wrong and it gives us a way of measuring what is truly pleasurable in life. It is bad because, obviously, it hurts.

it is good you know why if you can't feel pain you are like a zombie. just like somebody cut your arm and you didn't feel it and you sleep while your blood is gushing to your arm imagine that .
