Have you noticed my sneaker prints that lead right to your refrigerator? The leftover chicken was good, but you are out of beer. Could you pick up some more on your way home from work? Don't try to find me. I'm wearing sneakers.

I once played a very involved and sneaky prank on someone. Let's just say, we were not friendly and getting caught was not a good option for my accomplice and myself. Well, my accomplice and I got in all black with our hair up under black wool hats. I put on a pair of sneakers. She had on high heeled boots. The whole time we were "sneaking" up the street to do our business, her heels echoed "click click click click". I, in fact, did feel very sneaky compared to her in my sneakers. But as a unit, we were not. True story. We did not get caught. Wooooo-hahahahaha (sinister laugh)

Only when I also hum the Pink Panther theme quietly to myself.
And of course there's no chance of sneaking across the kitchen floor. Squeaking yes, sneaking no. Personally I think the squeaks go nicely with the humming, but I suspect the cat disagrees.

Only is the sneakers fit snuggly against my feet - it's easier to walk silently.

Not really.
After all...........a wombat in sneakers is pretty conspicuous. (I prefer to wear sandals, when casing your local convienience store.)
Better yet, I can go with my pinstripe suit and tie, with black oxfords; makes me the perfect "g-man".....
Then again, who are the coppers going to believe, when the clerk tells them "I was ripped off by a sneaker-clad marsupial!"

There's something about wearing tennis shoes that makes me want to yell, "Game, Set, Match". Don't know what it is...

Too bad I was home alone.
