i have never ever been with a guy before but i do know i am gay.we kissed a few times,we hang out.but he says 'i dont know' when i ask him to be my boyfriend.hes had boyfriends in the past.i know he wants to be with me,sorry if i sound like i'm bragging.
hes single and has been for a year,he is 18.
my friends and his friends tell me to go for it.
what the heck is going on?is he keeping his options open and keeping me sweet if he cant find someone better?

If he's not reciprocating your feelings then I'm afraid there is not much you can do about it. He can't help how he feels about you and nor can you. Try to be a little less available and get on with things, he might find that a little more alluring. You're only young though aren't you? I know this probably seems like a big deal right now but one day you will look back on this and wonder what the big deal was!

You say he's 18, but how old are you?
Only your guy can answer what's going on with him. Our guesses are meaningless and pointless. You need to be asking him directly why he's hesitating to go out with you.
Until you get a satisfactory answer, I'd suggest cooling your ardor as much as you can. The "right" one would go out with you in a heartbeat. Love isn't "perfect" unless it works the same in both directions.

it seems like you are putting him up in a pedestal, from what you said about him, he seems a bit confused about what he wants, and that can cause you some pain. I think that you should leave "your options open." their is an old say you want what you cant have. Make him see that you are on the prowl and let him see other guys into you. Be a challenge to him, dont give it up so easy, make him WANT you. When its too easy for someone to have you they start acting weird make it hard for him. Make him see what he can lose if he dont shape up.

You need to slow down. There is no need to force the relationship, allow it to happen naturally. If you asked him to be your bf and he said "I don't know" that actually means NO and everybody will agree with me that it does.
So here is the deal. He wants to get to know you better and he doesn't want you to rush him or smother him. If you rush or smother him he will simply back off and begin ignoring you.
Trust me there is nothing as unattractive as desperation - and honey you sound desperate!

I think you should maybe realx a bit. maybe he's unsure. im at the age now, where is someone says they dont know then usually thats a no. I know I do.
But at 18, you could be a little unsure. It is quite emotionally young. i would give him space, he knows how you feel, if he wants you he knows he can have you, so just takie a back seat and let him make his choice.

he says he doenst know becasue yeah he wants keep it casual.
y;ou should get involved with other fun stuff, a sport, read, work an extra job plan a vaca without him and then see how it is.
he may like an independent type and you should be independent for yourself..
crazy about anotehr person scares me like I said watch out you may compromise yourself due to that staemeant and he will take control. sounds like he may have already. just chill
