The little button needs to be changed out. There are contacts inside of it and corrosion can cause rust and metal shavings to build up inside the contact area witch will conduct electricity through the button switch and set off the alarm and turn on the interior lights...

Something similar was happening to me but it was when I was younger and i was curious if the light turns off when I close the door. So looked for something that must be triggered because of the door being closed. On my fridge there was a little button thing that pushes in when the door closes and shuts the light off, just like a older washer when the button is pushed by the lid closing the water turns back on. You can find the button, probably around the edges of the door to see if the light goes off or the easiest way is too just take the light bulb out if your worried about saving money.

You might have a short in your wiring leading to the button on the door jam. But it looks like that for some reason the button on your door jam is worn or is not adjusted correctly. Try putting a rubber cap over the button to extend it's reach on the door jam. Or replace the door jam button.

The part of the door that presses the button could have gotten a little recessed and cannot press the button all the way. Or, a piece of that part broke off, in which case it would still have trouble completely pressing the button.
