It is a silly "act" that mostly young people put on to be noticed or accepted in the urban society.

Most of the time, when a white person talks or dresses Hip-Hop, it is a mockery of the sillyness in this worn out genre. The loose fitting clothes, the gangling arm motions, the improper pronounciations and profanity is sometimes demonstrated to poke fun at the general laziness of this group.

Nobody really talks this way or behaves this way, but some urban youths find it an easy and animated lifestyle to incorporate. It isn't respectful or admirable, but young people feel a sense of community by repeating slangs and lyrics from rap and hip-hop "songs". It is a passing slowly, just too slowly.

We will all be talking normal and respectful one day...God help us.
