In my state you must be 19 to purchase cigarettes.
As a former smoker, I'd question why you would want to start smoking....it's not cool!
Consider the health issues associated with smoking!
The smell to me has become revolting when someone is walking by and the odor in their clothing, hands, and breath emits this dirty ashtray smell.
Reconsider the habit before you get to far!
Just my humble opinion!

i did it all the time. But that's because i had a son and had moved to another state that didnt kno who i was in a small town. I took my son into the place with me and no one questioned that i wasnt 18 (i was 17) I thought about going in the last time before i moved back and tell em "you all are prob gonna go to jail! you idiots have been selling to a minor for months!" but i didnt
So yea to answer your question, yes you can. you just gotta kno how to do it. Get a friend whose 18 to do it for you

Callum, It is so sad that you are addicted to tobacco at age 16!!!
The news article talks about millions of people who will die as a result of using tobacco or being exposed to tobacco.
I will likely be one of them... I quit smoking 12 years ago but much damage had already been done to my lungs.
If anything I say will encourage you to quit now!! I will consider it "one mission accomplished ."

ok think about the question you just asked i think you can answer it on your own... lol... anyway.. legally you cant but illegally you can... just ask the bum thats always sleeping by that convenience store that you frequent and ask him if he'll buy it for you.. make sure to add an incentive...like a dollar or something so he can buy his daily fix....
