Afterall folks, they are Republicans ... with a real inner sense of getting to the very heart and soul of the crucial issues facing all Americans today.
You see them on here daily and to a large extent, they are receiving a check from the republican underground to divert your focus from what they are really doing to the United States ... attempting to marginalize those with brave, rational thought ... and cater to the fears and prejudices inherent in their base of supporters.
In responding to their inflammatory questions, the best thing to do is NOT respond. But, begin your own series of questions that addresses the true issues ... in an intelligent and articulate way.
Secondly, the Republican underground would love to restrict your informed and intelligent commentary to these buried forums ... it is important to advance your political thoughts to the water coolers at your workplace, your neighbor's fence, and your carpool. We must fight for the minds of every independent.

Sadly, the promise of our Republic as envisioned by the Founding Fathers has been replaced by the politics of personal invective. It's much easier to insult the messengers that it is to debate the message. Jefferson said that an educated and informed electorate was the cornerstone of democracy. Our cornerstone has been replaced with the rotting mortar of partisan misinformation and party propaganda machines.
And while the Republicans have honed this skill to a fine point, Democrats are no less guilty, they are only much, much less effective and have fewer dedicated outlets. (This may be because Liberals and Progressives are not as interested in mindless partisan bickering as Conservatives are. Did Air America fail because it was bad, or did it fail because their intended audience, liberals, are above the constant trading of insults?)

NO but when the VP can shoot a man and have that man apologize to him that speaks volumes.
There is no room for this madness but it is what our polictical arena now dictates are the way to remove the focus from the real issues. The real issues usually get no attention and only one of 10 gets resolved or even addressed by most politicians once they are actually in office. In fact, most politicians start agendas or progams they come to fruition once they leave office.
i hope this helps

because of the fact there are in simple terms some genuine liberals on the national political scene because Clinton invented the "New Democrats", of which President Obama is one. "New Democrats" are in simple terms professional-selection, gun careful Republicans. the actuality that Wall highway executives and companies are the President's greatest supporters underscores this concept. At this element very few national elected officers characterize the human beings. generally, they characterize their marketing campaign individuals.

Heck no! However, you wouldn't be able to tell with all the muckrakers crowding the answers page. I'm more concerned with what our elected officials will do about terrorism, high gas prices, global warming, civil liberties, and war in the Middle East. Not to mention our debt to China, and North Korea's nuclear ambitions!

Here's all you need to know:
ANY Republican candidate would be better than ANY Democratic candidate.
It is like night and day. The Democratic candidate pool is lame. That's why George "the worste President in history" Bush has beaten you twice now.

No, I think the real issue should be the size of Teddy Kennedys head. How on Earth does he keep his balance with that melon?

Actually I think people like yuo and me need to SHAME them when they resort to ad hominem attacks. Point out that it merely indicates that they are incapable of discussing the real issues.
