i personally believe in life after death.. as to what we will be or what is to come.. well, my five year old daughter has her own theory about that.. this conversation took place shortly after a close family member died, so yes, my daughter is normal and NOT emotionally disturbed!

alyssa: mama, when i die will i go to heaven and meet god?
(yes, we do believe in my home but no, we aren't church-goers!)

me: of course you will honey. but why are you worried about dying??

alyssa: can i ask to come back?

me: i am pretty sure you can ask him anything when you talk to him but you won't come back as alyssa anymore. there is only one and there will never ever be anyone like you.

alyssa: okay mama, thats good. because i am going to ask him if i can be a pegasus unicorn or a black dragon!

yep.. thats the imagination of my daughter! freaked me out for sure but at the same time.. maybe that will give you some insight to answer your question!

HI Christine,

They say that the body dies right?
Well then how do you destroy Consciousness?
If we go supposedly to some place else after death,
in spirit form or another life, then it would be safe to say
that there is "Life After Life"! How can anyone be
dead if they are still conscious whether as a ghost or
spirit? It doesn't matter what we believe, the truth will
found out by all of us when we finally Cross-Over.....

I can only speculate, however:

I don't think that there is life after death, however depressing that may seem. People want this life after death thing so that they can start over and or live forever.

First of all, when we die we leave the physical world. So its impossible to return to the physical world.
Some people may say that its all done through the soul.
I ask them what is the soul. What is your "self" for that matter.
Are they merely perceptions of the world at any given time, like emotions?hot cold angry happy dark bright?
Try and concentrate on your "self" and see what you find.

I think people just made all this stuff up(God, afterlife, etc) at the begining of humanity because we were not prepared for what we were evolved to do, THINK.
Our brains could not grasp the world around us, the dangers and mysteries. All animals get scared, its necessary for survival, but they do not have the capacity for imagination as we do. Imagination is the key to all our success, self- destruction, and to the soul and god.

The soul and god were used to help us understand and explain the world we live in.This all makes sense.
Just try and grasp and understand the size of the universe. you cant. It will blow your mind because you find that humans are not the "center" of the universe. the universe has no meaning or purpose, its just there! the universe doesnot care about us; it could ALL end tomorrow.

The afterlife is notheing more than a trick to take your mind off this cruel unforgiving world, and make you look forward to death and the life therafter.
This made it easier for you to be exploited, by the way. Medevil church took money from church goers to get them into heaven. Its still done today.

All I know is that when I die, thats when I'll find out for sure.

GOD LOVES YOU, BUT HE'L SEND YOU TO HELL!!
I wouldnt wish eternal death upon anyone, BUT GOD DOES.!!

To say that there is life after death is to say that life is infinite, and humans are incapable of grasping infinity.

We have to ..can you imagine a world with an end a world with no promise of a future...I met a shaman in Edinburgh who had a dream and he believed that dream gave him the secret to reincarnation..he believed there was a specific path and if one did not know it before death the "soul" would wander until it found the path..he believed this dream that the excaliber showed the secret in the stars...he believed it so much that he gave up a lucrative job to study the dream and the star formations...he may be wacko but he believed in something, something that to him seemed so obvious...and I guess the question that arises is "what if?" ...so we should live our lives everyday believing in the hereafter whether it be traditional religion or some abstract theory of a guy in Edinburgh.

sure and it is call "Reincarnation" that's a non secular (like Hindu and Buddhism) and philosophical (Buddhism) conception that the spirit, after organic and organic leave, starts off a clean existence in a clean physique which would be human sort, animal or religious counting on the good and undesirable high quality of the previous existence's. For an occasion- there are maximum of youngsters born usual , each and every 2d all all over the area and so so does animals.. some toddlers born in detrimental relatives's and a few born in wealthy and a few in between, some born with disabilities and a few wholesome.. some toddlers born and die at that occasion like they see the international for few seconds and a few are paralyses and disease.. some born interior the international locations the place they have the conflict and a few no longer.. and likewise, why do animals born.. fairly of born as animals.. why won't be in a position to those souls born as human beings?? all of them are the effect of what they have accomplished of their previous existence, do no longer you think of?? :)

There have been tons of books written in an attempt to answer or explain why there is life and what happens after this life is over. Organized religion have reaped the benefits of people such as yourself who genuinely worry and wonder about this question. I guess the bottom line is to live your life as best as you can, try to better yourself mentally and physically, surround yourself with people who love you and do no harm to others as you travel down your own parcel of life's journey. Then you won't have to worry because you have left the Earth a better place than you have found it because you have lived.

I believe in it. I am curious as to what form we will be in... angels... identity-less morphlings... our present shape... pure energy or light. I think the Bible explained heaven in a way the people of that time could grasp. It equated it with a great palace. Maybe it is just a place of restful reward, free of all the nastiest contaminants of human nature and influence. That'd be real nice..

I can't say one way or the other, but I will say this: I try to live THIS life doing the "right thing"--and if another life may follow, I hope that I've minimized the "wrongs" that I would have to "pay for" from the present.

Yes, of course. Our bodies will lie, sleeping, 'til Jesus comes again. The faithful will rise and follow him to heaven; the cruel and unrepenting will be barreled straight to hell. Only a few will go to hell, though, I think. I'm not sure about animals; I think their souls simply flicker out like a candle, like in the House of the Scorpion, but I sure hope my dog goes to heaven with me!
