A plus would be it'd be fun to put your money where your moutn is!!

That would be fun, but what if you forget the gummy bears in your pocket and you wash your pants, there would be no more happy feeling about finding money in the laundry.

That is certianly a literal way to 'eat your profits'. While the idea is clever, you'd have to make it idiot-proof. This would be hard to do if an edible item held financial value.

Fine for me. I wouldn't eat them, but other people would, thus making my hoard more valuable. But what about counterfeiters???
