Seriously, the best thing you can do for yourself and the success of you living on your own, is to create a REALISTIC budget and stick to it!!

Learn to pay bills on time, balance a checkbook, and STAY AWAY FROM THE CREDIT CARDS - until you have a handle on life and are in the position to deal with them in a mature way.

The biggest and fastest way to fail at living on your own is getting into debt and spending money you don't have!

If it has to do with your finances: Be responcible and pay your bills, show up to work on time. Otherwise, you'll get kicked out of your home.

Of all the things you have to learn, the main one is do not get involved with bad people, they will drain you.

...learn to like yourself as a singular person...this is not a "dig"...I was suddenly thrust into singularity when my husband died and I found that learning to be alone required my own good company
