Don't worry about it. The cars have computers to make sure that the right amount of gas gets into the engine. The carbon was more of an issue back when there were carburetors on cars.

Strange that. And I thought that cars and minivans were designed to run. Cant see any problem leaving engine running for 15 hours or more. Just like in a boat when you might keep the engine running slow for days - literally - if your on a long ocean cruise.

Just open up your garage and windows in your house, if you left it running in your closed garage, to air the place out. If you did that, you're awfully lucky. After the garage has aired out for a few minutes, open up the windows on the van and let it air out for a few minutes as well. This should really only take a few minutes, and you'll be good. There will be no harm to the van (unless it ran out of gas in the meantime), theya re made to run (peope drive them for more than 15 hours all the time on long trips).

Stay off the bottle... put the JD down...

Cant figure out how to "accidentally" leave a vehicle running for 15 hours. Unless drunk... then it makes total sense to me.
