Does anyone really doubt these terrorist groups would use WMD if they got their hands on it? Instead of three of four planes into buildings, they would love to have a nuke to set off in New York or LA.

Why is it so hard for some people to realize the gravity of this threat? Why are some people inclined to give people like Saddam and Iran the benefit of the doubt? Don't they care about the security of their children?

For those of you who say Saddam didn't have WMD, we did not know that in 2003. In fact, every intel group in the world said he did. The chance he would pass it along to terrorists was the driving force behind the war.

The fact we haven't found many WMD's does not prove he didn't have any.

But let's forget about Iraq for a second. Let's say Iran gets a nuke and claims it themselves. Should we do nothing? Remember how many terrorist groups the support before you answer.

The problem with this question is that Saddam had no affiliation with any terror groups. In fact, he didn't have any nuclear material to give to terroists even if he wanted to. There is a smart way of doing things, and a not so smart way of doing things. Rushing into a country that you will end up occupying for a decade because there is a chance a dictator might give WMDs to a terrorist group is definately not the smart way to diffuse a situation.

In 2003, we knew well that Saddam had no nuclear capabilities. We knew that the 16 words about uranium from Niger was a joke. We knew the aluminum tubes were for conventional rockets.

Sadaam didn't have WMDs. Iran probably will, and the reason Iran is emboldened enough to push the world on this issue is because the U.S. has spread itself thin in Iraq policing a civil war we set off. Is it too much to ask that before we start blowing stuff up what probable outcomes will result?

we are going to see them used by terrorist against iran soon!

Bush/Cheney have full intentions on using nukes in IRAN.

They may even do a fake terrorist attack before they leave office so they can start martial law and suspend the coming elections!

I really expect this to happen!

I expect it within 6 months of the presidential election. That way congress has no time to review it!

Sure, I care about security. Why have the borders been overlooked for so long? It would make more sense to defend our borders than to overthrow a government on the other side of the world.
