Hey Everyone!

I am planning to get 2 more fish at the end of summer. I have a 10 gallon tank with 2 cherry barbs and 2 cories. I was planning to get more of my current fish. Do you think I should get one more cory and one more cherry barb so it is almost a school? If you have any suggestion on either cherry barbs or cories, please plug them on you answer. Thank you.

I would say you have enough room to add 3-4 more cherry barbs and 2 more corys myself. That would still leave you room for a pair of livebearers or killifish for the top of the tank.

Why do you always ask the same question? Get 2 more Cherry Barbs and one more Corry. Yes, I realize that is 3 fish... do you want happy fish, or not. By the way, with 4 Cherry Barbs and 3 Corries in the tank, you are not overstocked at all. Don't use one inch of fish per gallon, it is total crap. Just use common sense. Corries live on the bottom, Barbs don't, their space doesn't overlap, they are not crowding each other. The waste isn't much of a problem either, considering Cherry Barbs are pretty clean fish.

A bala shark would not make a nice addition as the person suggested below, They need 50+ gallon tanks,

from my experience, barbs can get very aggressive so if you are going to add any make sure that they are in the aggressive family. garaumi, or even a bala shark would make nice additions to your tank.
