I'm not afraid of you, honey: if I could go on a vision quest and not be afraid of Oohu-ma-te (no I don't know how to spell it; English speakers corrupted it into Yosemite), the spirit of the grizzly bear, why should I be afraid of a cute little cuddle love like you?

Humans are afraid since we continue to believe in inaccurate information. Often, it suits us to do so, otherwise, we'd have to take the initiative to learn and then reorganize our beliefs--and that's work!
Unfortunately, bears are not the only animals who don't include humans in their natural diet, but we continue to believe that they are "maneaters." Shall we keep encrouching upon their territorities, diminishing their food sources and habitats, threatening their existance--and keep asking why?
