On my desktop, the words under the icons are cut off. For Microsoft Word it is displayed as Micros..... under the icon. How do I get the whole name of the program to appear? When I click on it the whooe name shows up, but when I click on another program it goes back to Micros....

Please help, it's driving my crazy not to know how to change it.

Widen the icon spacing.

Control Panel, - Display - Appearance Tab
Click the Advanced Button
Click the ITEM drop down and scroll down to Icon Spacing (Horizontal) Make the number LARGER and click OK.

YOu can also increase the Vertical Spacing to allow for the full name to appear as the name wraps to a second line. Adjust both settings until you have what you require.

(You may have to experiment with this setting a bit to get it the way you want.
