I refer to the recently removed hilarious question asked by "ploppy". I can only assume some moronic PC humourless students reported it. If you don't like what somebody says then ignore them. Don't go running to teacher you fools. Grow up.

"gawed" - if you censor free speech it's not free speech is it?
"KD" - you are either too young or not bright enough to understand the way I have constructed the question.
Free speech SHOULD mean that we are free to talk/write about whatever we wish. Others are then free to listen/read or ignore or respond. I'm a big fan of comedy, and think that almost everything is fair game. But I feel much of Bernard Mannings comedy was racially offensive, and much of Chubby Browns comedy is offensively crude. So I don't listen to it. I think Big Brother is abusive so I don't watch it. I don't try to tell other people not to watch or listen. That should be their choice shouldn't it?

It would seem so. I have stopped answering many questions that I would like to have fun with. About ready to stop YA all together.

"Hilarious questions" are funny and fun for everyone. Racism, sexism and posting items made to insult others is a bit different from humour that everyone can enjoy.

You wrote "grow up" to those who reported abuse yet, it is interesting that you make a reference to "running to teachers". I get the impression that you aren't actually an adult.

There are adults on this site and those adults don't find childish "humour" like what this "Ploppy" person has posted.

Work on your self-esteem and walk in the shoes of others and you will see why these postings are offensive to some.

I didn't see a law passed by Congress saying that you can't say things like that in Yahoo Answers. A little 1st Amendment lesson for the morons of the world: you elect to come here, that means you have to play by the rules set forth by the moderators of this, and whatever other, board. Your 1st Amendment protection of the right of free speech only applies to the government, not private organizations. I can't stand it when people get the idiotic idea that they can say what they want becuase the Constitution says so.

Hello
Just know that our youths read alot of this stuff and more mature people hope to teach though example rather than simple words i.e. Do as I say rather than do as I do.
Often, individuals get on the ole soap stool of fighting for freedom of speak, while all the time they could be part of the problem that is tearing down what is GOOD.

Basically yes, it is. But with a double standard. You cannot ask about muslims or allude them being involved in terrorism. You cannot comment on any particular race of people or habits common to them. You can, however, bash the snot out of Christianity/Catholicism with absolute immunity. You cannot tell people who are obviously idiots that they are idiots because that hurts their feelings.

EDIT: Just today, this answer was deleted:

Listen to your clients. If they want to make car bombs, emphasize how well the metal disintegrates with 100 pounds of C4. Discuss cargo capacity and checkpoint running speeds. If, on the other hand, these are rich oil dudes, then you'd want to discuss leg room for getting laid in the back seat by their arab woman possessions. You may discuss headroom for those snazzy hats they wear too.

The dude's name is Henry C and he likes to try to hit on Arab women in Kuwait. Personally, I'm thinking he's gay.

unfastened speech is secure via the form. it might take a Constitutional modification to outlaw it. which will by no skill ensue regrettably, some human beings do no longer appreciate it and attempt to silence everyone they do no longer believe.

With freedom comes some responsibility...some do go over the top with the language at times, swearing is OK but obscenity is a bit much...but yes agree with free speech.

Actually, I totally agree with you! I often get warnings from Yahoo! anwsers, telling me I've been reported.

Excuse me! You asked for my opinion, I told you. Cry about it why don't you. It's pathetic that you get reported when you do what is asked of you.

People these days :[.
