my friend told me that the other day he was horny on the train and was and when he got home he jerked off. he was wondering if there is a chance of getting an std or infection from that and what symptoms to look for.

Your friend would have to come in contact with fresh contaminated bodily fluid before jacking off, which i doubt happened, but that is the only way possible.

i dont think so, unless he had touched something that was very dirty and likely to be infected, and didnt wash his hands before jerking, then there might be a chance unless he cleans himself properly, this can minimise the threat.

get a self-test kit from the pharmacy.(I don't believe you need a prescription).
