I had a con squawk at me about wait till someone I know is affected. The fact they grossly miss that if it wasn't for BUSH's bungled war most Americans wouldn't be affected. The sooner are troops are home, the less casualties we will have.
Fact.

Bush is a cause of major foreign policy problems because of his egotistical malfunctions, but also to blame is the very bad US policy of support for Israel. Blind US support for Israel (an aggressive, genocidal occupier of Arab lands) is a HUGE factor in the hatred against the US in the Middle East, something that most people refuse to admit. if you look at MidEast history from something other than a jewish perspective it becomes much clearer.

I suspect that politically we had to do something dramatic after 911.....Afghanistan certainly fit the bill. The first six months were good box office, but since then its been nothing more than a live fire training exercise for US troops. We've done all that can be done there. Even Alexander the Great never had much luck in Afganistan and that guy was ruthless! Alexander soon realized that Afghanistan isn't a real country..it's a collection of shifting alliances, two bit warlords and a totally alien culture that rejects everything that the 'west' believes is important. Iraq has been a total loss. The 'war' was a classic example of a first world invasion of a 3rd world country.....but the occupation has been the worst screw up in the history of the world. The Bush Junta is, was and always will be clueless...unlike Alexander, who, when he invaded that particular real estate figured out that you incorporate a defeated military, you don't disband it. He also married off his soldiers to every babe in sight. We're going to pay for Bush's screwball policies......and even his supporters know that now!

I have been affected more by the reaction. As I travel by plane on occassion, I have had to go through the security process as everyone else has. Hey, either you want security and a loss of some freedom or you want no security with lots of freedom. I prefer to feel somewhat safe.
There most certainly would have been more attacks by passenger plane had nothing been done about it.

If we bring the troops home we will have fewer military casualties...for a time. However, it will increase the number of citizen casualties eventually here in the USA. It will also increase casualties among the Iraqi people.
Fact.

I don't know why the cons don't just go underground in their fall out shelters and hide. They can have their prayer meetings with Pat Robinson's 700 Dud while the rest of America progresses. Bill Gates the Liberal gave them some software to run their mouths on the Internet, hence TERRORISM. Everything has been happening all a long, we just didn't know about it as much.

You have a better chance of winning the lotto or being struck by lightning 500 time before the odds of terrorism hits you.

The war on terror is like the war on drugs. It is political jargon that is designed to invade your privacy and slowly prepare you for the coming police state.

Like a frog in water that is being heated, the frog will never jump out because the change is slow and you do not notice its getting HOT until it is too late.

Well, it is happening to america with the war on terror and the war on drugs!

Both wars are mythical. like i said, you would be more likely to get hit 500 times by lighting than attacked by terrorist, yet you cave to warrantless wire-taps, not being able to feed a baby on an airplane ride, Needing a visa to visit the Bahamas and Canada, loss of habeus corpus( yes the patriot act has been used against natural Americans that was not tied to terrorism, Do a search and see).

The people of Germany had the same thing happen, and by the time they figured it out! IT WAS TOO LATE!

And anyone with half a brain would look into 9-11!

OBL was a cia op, and was in the U.S. and flew out on 9-17 2001 according to fbi docs just released. Read the article and download the pdf here.

I have a bbc video from 9-11 where they report the fall of building 7 of the world trade center 26 minuets BEFORE it actualy fell on a LIVE report with WTC 7 in the background in a LIVE REPORT!

Now how do you report a building falling before it happens without prior knowledge?????

Go to google video and search BBC building 7 and watch the video.

Where are the titanium engine debris from the pentagon???

12 tons of that stuff does not disappear, and jet fuel does not burn hot enough to melt that either, so that boat dosen't float!

9-11 is the biggest lie ever sold! And We stupd Americans are fully vested! lol

And there is a difference between theory and fact! The ones that buy this crap are the ones in fantasy land!

And ignorant bliss is beleiving that politicians care about you and are protecting you!

Both congress and the white house have record low approval ratings.

If they are doing such a good job, why are the majority of the people not pleased!

Wake Up!

WAKE UP AMERICA!

I disagree. Radical Islam brought this war to us. Although I may not agree with everything President Bush has done, I feel he is waging this war in a justified manner. We dont know every detail that goes on behind the scenes and we dont need to know.
Im curious what your solution would have been after the 9/11 attacks? Im curious what you feel should have been done with Sadam ignoring several UN mandates. Granted, if the UN had the balls to follow up on its own mandates, things might be different.
We were right in bringing down Sadam.

Since the day after 9/11, I have been waiting for the USA to make a real, comprehensible effort to prevent another such attack
so far, I haven't seen anything except idiotic military bumbling foolishness
contrary to our current 'myth', the Taliban in Afghanistan were not defeated by the US Army, they were routed out of one city, Kabul, by the Northern Alliance of Afghanis
in the meantime, our own special forces had located OBL, and asked for reinforcements, but were denied, and OBL got away
and the invasion of Afghanistan is supposedly our 'successful' war
so I don't feel any safer today than I did on 9/12/2001
