No Specific qualification is required, You must develope your leadership skills for that. A thourough knowledge of current business, and knowledge of financial market is a must... Though a MBA degree or equivalent helps a lot but is definitly not essential.. Lots of the most Charismatic CEOs haven't even graduated.. Remember when someone is appointed as CEO, he/she stands much taller compared to his qualifications, and to reach till that point all you need to deliver.. what i mean to say is, your superior should get results when they assign you a task, no matter whether you worked hard.. or used some other tactics to get it done.. ultimately results matter...

Honeslty, you really just need experience more than qualifications. A friend of mine has been a nanny for eleven years and has no qualificatons at all on any level. It's good that your girlfriend wants them though. She could get an NVQ3 in the same area or NVQ4 which is a managerial qualification too and aimed at child day care in nurseries which is what a lot of people i know have. I'm only NVQ3 level but worked for 5 years with children and had enough so am a social work student now which is a three year degree. Wish her luck. It's hard work and I admire it very much.

Better typing skills than you possess. If you have to ask how to be a CEO, you are not CEO material.
