1) Try not to think about the test too much as most people find that when you actually get there and meet the examiner you start to relax as you know it's actually happening
2) Talk to your examiner. I found when I took test second time actually making an effort to talk to the examiner helps you relax and it also makes them see less scary
3) Take one of those relaxing bubble baths and drink some camomile or herbal tea in the morning of your test to relax you.
4) Be aware when on test at all times and do expect the worst, but fix it by planning ahead. E.g. Think about what time your test is and think about what could happen. If it's 8.40 in the morning expect lots of fast cars trying to get to work, lots of children trying to get to school. If it's 1.35 then expect it to be more quiet but with a few lunch runners about.
5) Be so aware at Junctions. The most common failure is at junctions and/or roundabouts. Take your time. It is better to get 1 or even 4 Minors for Undue Hesitation than 1 Major for it. 1 Major is enough to fail you remember.
Remember all you learnt in lessons and remember these tips and I'm sure you will have no trouble.
Good Luck!!! - MM

Go to the test centre before Thursday and visit the waiting room, find out where the nearest toilets are, see where you start your test from. These sort of things make the actual day much easier because you are not stepping into the unknown. On the day, don't go into the waiting room more than a few minutes before your test time as just sitting there can make you feel worse. When you meet the examiner, don't rush, or you may miss something he/she is asking or telling you. When you sit in the car listen to the examiner and then start the engine and check it is safe before moving away. Try to drive as if the examiner wasn't there, if you try to remember all the things everyone has told you, your mind will be so full that you could miss something important on the road. Just drive the way you have been taught and try to relax your mind. Enjoy the experience, surprising enough it can be fun!!! Believe me, I was an examiner for 32 years.

Remember how much you want it and stay confident. Look at all the drivers out there - so many people were just as nervous and get through it-so you can too. Take your time when doing the manoeuvres and keep your instructors advise in your head while taking the test. Simplify it into a test on how to operate a machine and put all you have learnt into practise. Also, remember if you do not pass it will be a huge learning curve to get you ready for the next test - any driving is experience to master the skill, if you pass or not.

I was test driving cars a couple of weeks ago and the dealership actually asked me if I wanted to bring the car seat into the car. However, I said no - we would trade off.

You can;t be nervous on a test, that risks taking points off. Just don't stop past a stop sign (i got points off for that) and just look straight ahead, and the nervousness will be forgotten. Also make sure you use your blinker for EVERY turn.

chill out love the worst thing that could happen is you fail . i have been there and failing makes you feel More anxious and practice harder. of course i don't want u to fail so don't be nervous and stressed because i suffered (failed) because of that. relax and on Wednesday do something fun and try and get your mind of all the pressure. good luck

Deep breath before you start. Also, talk to your instructor before you begin, it helps to realise that they are ordinary people too!
