Nothing different. I think Homeland Security has done well protecting the US from further attacks since 9/11. I think they will eventually get through however somehow. I think we will see something happen after the new President is elected. I try not to live my life in fear. I live in a state that has nothing major to attack really but my husband has a lot of family in NYC. I have a brother in Orlando and my neice and nephew live in Houston. I would never want to see anything like 9/11 again and know many that lost loved ones in the towers or on the planes. But no I am not really scared at this point and my life is no different. I can say I have not gotten on a plane since 9/11 and not sure I ever will dare to again. I hated flying before that and well I hate it more now.

Nah ! In Glasgow - there is more chance of being mugged by a mad Granny High on Eldorado or Bucky.... than being attacked by a Terrorist... that's what makes the whole Airport thing very hard to believe.. I cant believe the Government tried to scare Glaswegians with a Jeep & a couple of cans of Gas - its a wonder the passengers didnt start sniffing the fumes.. The only Muslim terrorists I know are the Newsagents in Glasgow who charge a fortune for 20 Club King Size and a Bottle of Irn Bru...

If you are scared now ...what would happen if there was a major terrorist incident at W Stadium...has anyone prevented the inevitable happening by not turning up for work and so on?
I worked in London for two years in the aftermath of 9/11 and had more fear about the state of the transport system and breaking down in the summer heat...
People have to be vigilent..

I am scared but not to the point I change my daily routines,I do look over my shoulder more often than I use too.I am afraid that sometime the terrorist will attack a mall or a sporting event that I might be attending.Hopefully Homeland security has a handle on the radicals and are after them as we speak.

M.C wrote "NAhh, I am more afraid of Bush than Bin Laden, he is the real threat to our society."
What a muppet, Bush is a democratically elected President who is out of office in another year and a half, Bin Laden is most likely dead already as nothing new has been heard or seen of him for a long time, just old regurgitated tapes spliced together from old ones. HOWEVER there are still terrorists out there who are more dangerous than. How anyone can bring in Bush to this shows a total lacking of understanding of the real sutuation, and that is actually more scary than terrorists, the fact that someone like M.C can vote.

I dont live in what would be considered a target town. Very few people have even heard of my home town. But if I lived in a major city I would like to think I would keep my routine andby doing so would wave a giant 2 fingered salute to the scummy terrorists

No I am not scared of terrorist attacks and I am not doing anything different to what I did before.
The only thing that does concern me is when is our Government going to get it through their thick heads now is the time to permantly shut the borders and stop harbouring the scum.

Yes I am very scared to be in the UK at the moment. I dont trust anyone. I will go as far as to say that if I was going abroad on holiday, I would physically get off the plane if I saw a Muslim on board. Im sorry, I know it is only an extreme minority, but who can you trust? Id rather be safe than sorry!

Lived in London all my life, this is not a new thing.
Yeah its scary.
Its not just me who is scared, my Muslim mates from work are scared too, scared of being blown up and also scared of the reaction of the SOME of the ignorant British people towards them and their families.
They have got the double whammy in my opinion, judging by some of the questions on here, I don't blame them for being scared.

Yes, but not "at the moment", because other cultures can keep anger & hatred brewing or stored for centuries (let alone for the moment) We Americans have no concept of this. That's why we're pretty much screwed for years to come. We have yet to see the extent of "terror" coming our way. I know. I know. Doom and gloom. But I learn from what history teaches me, I don't choose to ignore it.
