Who's with me, all rapists, perverts and murders should be tortured the good old fashion way, without the electric chair.

If I look in to myself then the answer is emphatically YES . BUT , as Salcity said above so many so called murderers have been let out because the police fabricated evidence against them just to get a conviction would it be legal Murder ?. The technology exists today for the perpertraitor of a crime to be judged from his own lips , if someone is suspected of a crime then dna evidence and sodium pentathol should remove all doubt . If the suspect themselves said in their own words that they where guilty and the Dna proved as secondry proof and there was absolutley no doubt .. Oh yes and I for one would pay to pull the switch especially on a child Murderer...........Vortash Plymouth England

Although in theory I do agree with you.. an eye for an eye and all that...in parctise this would not work. In the very recent years many of these so called murderers have been released due to new evidence proving that after spending a couple of decades in jail they were not actually guilty of the offence. The death penalty should only be brought back in to play when we have a justice system where such miscarriages of justice are impossible which lets face it is never going to happen.

I totally agree with you. There should be no appeals and death is immediately from court room to death chamber. And for those of you that are for life in prison I could go along with that too. Only my form of life in prison. You amputate both arms and legs and put the person on a cement slab with a feeding tube. Do a colostomy and a catheter so there is nothing to clean up. It just goes in a pit and pumped out now and then. It could be like the morgue. Put each in a drawer with no light or sound. Only their minds to think about what they did.

Bit of a jump straight to capital punishment though..

You'd be missing out corporal punishment altogether there, public floggings, pillorying, tarring and feathering, being locked in the stocks while people throw rotten fruit, public torture like dunking and water stools

Eventually you'd get to decapitation and dismemberment, being hung, drawn and quartered and the like. What would be the rules in this totalitarian sate though? You'd need tight definitions of perversion and crime, suppress opposition ruthlessly, curtail individual and subversive thought

Electric chair, gas chamber and lethal injection are exactly the same as the crowd with stones in their hands or the fella with the hood and axe just different contexts

...A good point indeed, however, consider this... A rapist;
cut of his (you know what)...then about 20 years in prison.

A child molester; (see above)...then place him in "general" prison population and announce what he did to all the inmates that are currently serving time.

A murder; well some slime-balls need "killing", however, the death penalty only gets "them" out of feeling the responsibility for the crime... Life, without the possibility of parole.

Who pays for all this... simple... return to the policy of Colonial America... his family feeds him and pays for his expenses or he "rots" away... simple and cost efficient.

I know, the ACLU doesn't like that... they'd rather put up with the crime... (Prison overcrowding would soon end.)

I think whatv er that person did should have the same thing done to them. If they raped somebody, cut it off. People need to be scared by what might happen. These people know they will get a slap on the hand and keep on going or sit in jail/prison and have a good life until they die.

When a 20yr old bf shakes a baby to death or breaks the child till they are blue,,, then tells everyone " He Fell",,Make the MO_FO walk the same steps!
When a man Takes a 10yrs old virginity away,, Take his manly hood away!
Why is it in other countries they give out to the criminal what is given to the victim, but here in the land of the FREE the victim is beaten not once but twice or more?
Should old people who worked for $2.00 At one time lay victim to someone who will contract a job then run off with their money?
Or how about Enron? My mom lost thousands of dollars, not because SHE invested in them but her investors did and lost and passed it on to her.
I agree 100%,,, Hand in the cookie jar,,, CUT IT OFF AT THE WRIST!!!

leave the murderer alone as long as there not perv's and torcherers, dont kill children, bring back chass Bronson.put them in with the general prison population, not with there own kind like in England so they can talk to each other about all the lovely kids they abused and swop peado addresses,I'm sure a few good lifers could sort them out.paedophiles know people in high places but the real law are beginning to crack them.

Well i would think it not human to torture them, inspite of what they have done we do not need to lower our selfs to that level, but with todays science and dna testing that if dna test prove someone did something nasty with out a shadow of dout then yes hang them, but to play it double safe they would be locked up for five years, just in case new stuff comes to light to prove they never did it.
If after 5 years no new evidence came to light then they should be hung till dead.

England is to soft on people, life here does not mean life.It is wrong.
If you take a life you give your life i say.If you force yourself on anyone regarding of age it should cost you your life.

So i do agree with you on everything but the tortured bit, simple just a good hanging make it public on tv send a message across to people if you break the law you will have your life ended

kind regards
