does anyone know the easiest way to get from new york to new jersey by train? i'd take penn station out of new york, and i need to get to south jersey. (cherry hill area).

would i have to switch to bus somewhere along the way? please help, i'm very confused.

Sweetie, that's what the Metro North trains are for. They're located in Penn Station.

Tke the bus from the Port Authority Bus TErminal direct to Cherry Hill easier ride.
Go to the njtransit.com web site for the bus schedule and fare.

I'm not sure is cherry hill has a metro north station but you sh ould be able to just hop on the njt and ride it all the way down. just make sure c.h. has the metro north. good luck!

I don't know...I have heard that if you are in New York City there is a bridge that connects to New Jersey. That's all I know. I have a niece that lives in New Jersey and she goes across the bridge to N.Y.C. all of the time.
