I think souray is a good replacement for raffi, and well for gomez, its too late, briere is gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not much else left, frankly. Sheldon Souray might be ok, but considering Jersey's defense-first system, he might not be a good fit. Other than that, you're out of luck. The best players are gone. Hopefully the Devils have someone young in the wings that will be able to step up.

we have to sign some big names, and fast. sheldon souray could definetly fill the offensive gap that rafalski left. only problem is he doesn't play that much defense.

to fill gomez's spot we could always pull up some minors. they proved themselves to be pretty good throughtout the year. or we could trade some for another center.
another good idea would be trying to sign yashin. i know he's washed up and its a risky choice, but what else have we got?
if we don't sign someone soon, we'll get crushed in our devision.

They need to do something. Two of their best offensive players are gone. Are the Devils going to go even more into a defensive shell? Should make for some exciting hockey for those who enjoy watching paint dry and grass grow. Yawn

i really don't think they can sign much since some people who don't contribute make too much money. Brylin is a hard worker but we shouldnt pay him 2mil. The devils need to sign some fowards. The quick ones. And Lou will find some defensemen, Like Jonny Oduya
