After physicist Richard Feynman won the Nobel Prize for his work, he went to his old school and looked through his old yearbook. To his amazement he found that his grades were not as good as he remembered. And he got a 'kick' from the fact that his IQ was inly 124, not really much above average. This made him realise that wining the Nobel Prize with an IQ of 124 was really something and most of us would assume that anyone who wins the Nobel Prize is a genius. Feynman had always assumed (until he took the IQ test) that he had (a really high IQ).
If He realised that his IQ wasn't that much higher than the average person, would he have still had the audacity to pursue the research that would later bring him fame?
Maybe the knowledge that he was 'just like everyone else' would have influenced what he tried to achieve. After all, everyone knows that ordinary people don't achieve extraordinary things.
Many of us fall short of our potential because we assume things about ourselves or because of little 'quirks' in our character. But the most self-defeating assumption of all is that we are just like everyone else.
Respect comes from what we do with the gifts God give us. Not with their simple possession. I would respect my spouse less if they were a genius who did nothing with their intelligence than if they were 'average' and did their best. If my spouse was a genius and did great things then the respect I had for her would be in her achievements not in her intelligence. (Please note that I do not consider 'respect' to be the same as love or compassion or desire or any other word that is necessary for a loving relationship.)

A genius does not command respect...
A genius is simply a person that simply sees its enviroment with diefferent point of view, has a different way of thinking.
So offtenly, I genius is misunderstoond, attacked mistreated etc.
I want my spouse to be a genius that everyone loves.

Well, usually woman like to be married with genius man. They think being genius they have will have a good money and will be good fathers. But man, usually don't care at all about "thinking" women. They just want a good looking woman to be proud of.

Good, thought provoking question. I think the special respect is called worship and the genius is one who can understand many instructions and often carry them out with precision.

I wouldn't want to marry anyone stupid, but there should be respect for all people no matter how intelligent they are. Some people just need more attention and compassion than others. Be kind to everyone.
