Someone recently told me she found a white feather, and took this as the sign that an angel had visited to make things okay. I, ever the cynic, say it came from a white bird. What do you think? And have you heard this saying before?

i haven't heard that saying before, just the 'give me a sign' thing. i guess it's not from an angel, because it's really hard to believe that angels really exist. but every one has their own opinion so. . .

Yes. I have heard the saying . When you find a white feather along your walk through life, for sure an angel is near to guard and guide your way, an angels touch like the feather, soft and white will guide us through with a most soft touch. to believe it so for some a most difficult but to those who do , the feel from the great love glow is worth a life spent well. Feathers fall from birds because angels do not sport wings. Artists of the Renaissance depicted angels with wings to represent movement in the air.

Dont worry God loves all his creations and he wants us to love ourselves so we can love others. If it symbolizes angels to you personally then yes its a sign to you from Creator. I use feathers to make medicine bundles or mojo bags and I found a couple during the holiday too. I beleive the spirit world is getting us ready for a major spiritual battle soon. Just keep praying and have your own religon. We all have different paths to the same creator. As long as it comes from your heart, then you'll never go wrong. Be strong, be yourself and follow your heart always. May God bless you. Also I know this sounds crazy but so be it, I know the angels are here, i cannot see them but I talk to and hear them. They say total faith leaves no room for doubt, and that is a living faith.

Haha.....the fairytale part of me would like to think that it's from an angel but the realistic/logical part of me would be that of a bird's.

Well, let her believe. Sometimes, we need to believe our visions to make this world a nicer place to live in.
