If I get my period before I start the green, inactive pills, should I go ahead and just move to those pills? I started a week early cause I had sex after a year of not having sex so it made me start.

No should not...this stuffs up the cycle. if this is not the regular time you usually mesntruate then do not move to them. It will make your periods irregular and they can last for up to 3 weeks. TRUST ME ITS NOT PLEASANT

I'd go ahead and take the inactive pills if it's a full week early, if it's less than a week, I'd just keep taking them as directed. You just want to make sure you start your new pack on the same day of the week so you don't get messed up.

you do not start the pill a week early or a week late. the whole point is to start when you are supposed to. and taking a regular 21 day pill after sex, without having taken the pill the month before will not help you at all. if this event took place less than 72h ago, go get the day after pill, if not, prey and start buying baby clothes. before getting pregnant again, read the bloody leaflet that came with the pill.

It means the pills of that brand are not suitable for you and have too much hormones. You should have a bleeding during the non active pills because of an hormone decrease and a layer decay.

A sex related bleeding would need a gynecologic checkup. it may mean vaginal inflamation and a treatment would be necessary.

You need to get on a lower dose of hormone, you should not get you period while you're on the active pills. Call your gyno.
