Carburetor Kits???
If, you need major rebuild this will get very expensive. May be cheaper to find the same Model that is running and use yours for parts.
Be careful on this stuff, it can get expensive and mostly all you may need it a gasket (Maybe). The important thing is to clean all the little holes and such. Now, the floats, if they have not been messed with are adjusted so this mean not start bending things. If, they the black plastic stuff, let them air dry and then drop them in a small jar of gas look how they float. I just let them sit over night. Next day see how they float. If, they sinking this what you going to need to buy and know how to adjust them if they not have instructions.
I will find you some links, it will help to know the Model# and Serial# when you look for parts.
NAPA Auto sometimes have kits, but, floats may be your problem. I have taken these Carbs apart, cleaned and never bought one thing, not even a gasket. Worked great.
*Warning* If you not get Genuine Merc kits some parts may not do you carbs and some parts may need "Tweeking". This after market kits Generalize. At a dealer you can expect to pay $50 +/- per kit, and those not have the Floats, they come on their own.
I would really try to do this without the kits if possible. But, you will have to get floats if they sinking. Also, you can buy gasket material and make your own cheaper if you tear a gasket or it need replaced.
