When I am driving my truck, if I turn the lights on, when I turn the ignition to turn the truck back off, the engine stays on. If I turn the lights back on, the engine turns off and then I can play with the lights to completely turn the truck off so nothing is running. What in the **** is going on?

First, if the truck's electrical wiring is still factory and no one has done anything to it, ie: added an alarm, new radio and in turn has "messed" with the wiring, I'd say you have a bad Ignition switch. The truck was designed to shut off all the time when ever the key is turned to the off position.

I am thinking add on fog light kit. Try turning the truck off on high beam. Any thing added to the truck before this happen.
