Well, stories that portray normal life can have their own heroes, too. Main characters are heroes regardless of the genre of the story.

But I usually like stories that have fantasy and fiction themes because my purpose when turning towards stories is to get rid of the feeling of normal life and reality.

Heroes are good I guess, but what I like about the non-normal stories I enjoy doesn't begin with the hero/heroes. In fact, I will sometimes side with the villain!

I guess I prefer stories which have heroes, for fiction. Normal life stories are best reserved for non-fiction (which I enjoy as well). I just don't like fictional stories that portray normal life. Normal life is boring.

I love story with heroes in them because it's fantasy. In fantasy you never know what's going to happen. But the stories about normal life are a total bore to me because most of the time something like the story has happen to me so I know how the story is going to end.

I like both, but my favorite stories have everyday heros in them. Not some super hero that can see through walls & stuff.

normal life...like the show "Heroes"....Since we don't know if people with "abnormal powers" exist (but I believe so) I would think that it's more of a "normal life" show. Shows like "The Real World" seem very fictional to me and I cannot stand them.....
oh man...now I confused myself !!!

I love a hero, we LIVE in reality, and I think this reality TV is just getting out of hand, where is John Wayne, or prince charming anymore?

I love to hear about something different. Everyday life we experience, well, everyday don't we?

I could write a story about me, but that would be boring. (Hey that's what blogs are for!) While we're on the subject, they should cancel all those "reality" tv shows. =)
