Yes. My Mom and Dad have 5 apple trees on their property. We always pick the apples and eat them. They are so good.

Yes, its almost my habit to pick two fruits off the young trees almost regularly, eat them and move on to the next and so. Its the most enjoyable thing on earth and keeps you young. Its almost natural, to say the least

Not recently, but as kids we used to pick mulberries and my mother would make us a mulberry pie. I have eaten figs fresh from the tree, and I have a kumquat tree in my yard, but they are too bitter to eat.

Sure! In Maryland it was apples. In Florida it was oranges, mangoes, coconuts, and grapefruit. In Arkansas it's been apples, plums, and persimmons so far.
