He is living the good life with his parents and mooches money off them. He is very lazy so much so he gets up at 11.00am every day. All he does is hang around the shopping centres and the library. He has no confidence and self esteem. Can you give him serious advice before he crumbles? His parents have set him a deadline to find a job or move out

First, he needs to change his habits -- Bed by 10:00 pm and up by 6:00 am.
He should plan his days to start with exercise and a good breakfast.
Then he needs to go on the hunt. First, he should try for lower level jobs and then work his way up.
It will be tough, but there are jobs out there.

He needs to get job training of some sort, and now. He's been living the high life, and needs to pay the piper. And he definitely needs to see a therapist about the self esteem and confidence. He's probably suffering from depression.

He needs to get a job, ANY job......his parents don't expect him to make millions of dollars..they just want him to take responsibility for his life and support himself, or at least HELP support himself. While he's at the shopping center and library, maybe he could ask if they need any help. That will help his confidence and self esteem issues, too.

well you can lead a horse to water but can't make him drink it! I know what it's like to have no confidence or self esteem. However it is useless to try to help him if he doesn't want to help himself.
As he has had it easy for 39 years, Maybe the best thing to do is to change the environment and get him kicked out of the house, maybe that will get his **** moving.

possibly it does . some human beings locate they focus much less on autos these days . Others nonetheless might desire to have some thing new . My answer to your friend is to get a job. It will occupy him that's why he feels like a loser is because he is one. Het a job and get out of your parents house. Maybe then you will get a date.
