yes through mails only maximum wirus spreading occurs

dont open unknown mails and be sure to run antivirus software and click sapm for unknown mails

yes it is possible to send thru mails. it is called worm virus. It using ur address book and send mails automatically by using ur id.
prevention:
1.plz delete unknow mails.
2.plz recreate ur address book
3.plz turn on your content filtering and spam filtering.
4.plz turn on ur internet options with security.
5.keep anti-virus s/w up to date
