Your own voice sounds low to you and thus you need to speak louder when you need to speak. Your mind adjusts your speaking volume based on the neural feed-back from the moth through outside the ear. In the presence of head phones and loud music, you will need to raise your own voice to hear yourself.

One reason is that they are actually causing heaing damage with the loud head phones. They have done studies and found that band members who practice and play lound concerts are getting permanent hearing damage. Persons who have gone to concerts receive temporary hering loss. They talk louder after leaving the concert. The headphones are doing the same, subjecting the hearing to loud sounds and decreasing the ability to hear. This makes them talk louder.

It seems obvious that we tend to talk louder when we have loud music with headphones. We hear our own voice when we talk and adjust the 'volume' so that other people can hear us. If we can hear our voice, it is likely that others can hear us too. As a result, our brain make us speak louder when loud music are applied to ensure others can hear us. Because we are in a world of loud music we hear our voice 'normal'. However others who are not hearing loud music will say that we speak with louder voice.
I hope you can understand my English

The reason you hear anything is because sounds waves hit your ear and vibrate through to send a signal through little hair like folicules in your ear. which sends a signal. (i.e. sound) to your brain. So if have music blaring so loud that your ear is just vibrating like some drum. and is being covered by headphones. the soundwaves from your mouth can not enter your ear to cause vibrations at such a degree that it can be interpreted by the ear folicules in your ear. so You talk louder in order for that to happen. which cause you to hear your self.

Let's say you're at a concert, and you wanna say something to somebody. You're gonna say it louder so they can hear you over the music. You do that because you adjust your voice setting to your surroundings. But if you're wearing headphones you're the only one who hears the music, but again you adjust your voice level so others can hear you.
