It seems like criminals have the upper hand now

Ever since that whole Rodney King incident, police have been unable to dispense street justice. The so called 'community' was up in arms over poor Rodney getting his just deserts.

How can we return to the good old days?

Liberals put a stop to it, since they claim minorities are being punished falsely. Political correctness has been out of hand for quite some time. Crime rates have risen to extreme levels since the Liberals protest everything a police officer does concerning illegals, and minorities. Blacks, and Hispanics commit more crime in America, than whites and Asians, 1 to 20, and the police, and border patrol feel helpless.
I have personally had to interpret for a police officer to an illegal alien from Mexico, and the officer had no right to send this individual to jail for breaking American laws for trespassing. I am as angry about that as you are!

Somewhere in the military minded police officers of today,"SERVE AND PROTECT", has been replaced with "SEARCH AND ARREST" What ever happened to the public SERVANTS of yesteryear ?In days gone by,you could get actual HELP from a cop without a ration of crap attached, now ,you are lucky to get one to show up when called. I guess it boils down to the fact that RESPECT is earned, and many police officers today, haven't met that criteria !"You reap what you sow " remains on BOTH sides of the fence !

All it would take is for you to be victimized by police to understand why,I guess.
I am already able to empathize with Rodney King and others.

First thing you must understand is that the majority of people who go into law enforcement already suffer from some mild form of a psychological problem; ie:; "hero complex"

I sure don't want the police to have the power of Judge, Jury and Executioner.

Because the liberal Left demanded that all police officers take a course in 'sensitivity training'.

"Excuse me Mr. Murderer, would you feel better putting down your weapon so we can share a conversation about how you feel?"

ACLU, Hollywood. And coward law makers. Not law enforcement. Law makers. Because every thing is a race or gender issue. Is doesn't matter if they did it or not, if they can get off on the race card, it is a done deal. Victims have no rights, just the criminals do.

They can still kick butt. They just have to yell "stop resisting" while they do it.
