Supposing you had fell out with a friend, would it be right to pretend to be someone else over myspace for example, to find out what the other person involved really thought?

Not really. They might be someone else on MySpace but another to you and all that they tell on that web site. We are not people who want to share our most secrets and though websites allow them to vent, it might not be who they really are. You have to spend time with them in order to know what they area about.

yes, thats really dishonest. just talk to your friend, and sort it out. if your friend found out you did that they would be even more annoyd/upset.
