When an animal is castrated, does this mean they are no longer sexually active???

They still can be sexually active, but it does help curb the urge.

When an animal is castrated the testes are either banded to where they eventually fall off or the sexually or gans are removed (at least in sheep and bulls)
For example i have a show steer about 4 months ago he was a bull but the vet came and surgically removed his testes making him sterile and unable to breed
Toi sum it up - castration=removing of the testes to not allow breeding
aND... yes they still have urges- my heifer was in estrus and my steer and her sharea a stall and he decided to ride her but since he is a steer she WILL NOT get pregnant

Yes alot of them still have urges especially dogs, but the good thing is they no longer can make babies.

yes they still have the urge, my fixed dogs do it all the time

they can still do it if they want but the will be firin blanks
