Aw! You're a sweet person and I admire your compassion for animals! We all at one time or another have, or will accidentally hit an animal. Sometimes these things are just unavoidable. Accidents happen and you shouldn't beat yourself up over it. You didn't do it intentionally. If it would make you feel better, you can give it a burial.
Hugs!

The rabbit was clearly suicidal, it ran out and dived under your car - maybe it's in better place, top notch carrots and crispy lettuce all around. Wait . . . Why did you go back with the shovel - you hid yourself from view and moved the victim off the road - talk to the psychologist about that - it could be a step beyond acceptable road rage.

Death is way of life and every life dies one day. Who and how they will die only GOD knows. A bunny died when it got hit by your car, thats not your fault. At the moment he was born how he will die was written, just like us humans. Do not feel guilty. Its was meant to happen my friend. If a human died by your car it would be the same case. What matters is you are alive and you did not hit a tree trying to avoid running over the Bunny. Be thankful to GOD because there is a teaching for you in it. Move on with your life take care of your family. Wish you a happy life.

i know why you feel bad... the best thing to do is leave it for a fox to eat it. because it was already dead it obviously didn't suffer much, so don't worry about that. if you want to make yourself feel a bit better donate some money to an animal charity that gives free/cheap veterinary treatment, so it can help animals that were in road accidents and survived, (in England PDSA, any other country you'll have to look it up).

I'm glad you made peace with the bunny. It was an accident but by apologizing, I think you righted your accidental wrong. You'll be allright with the world now.

When you do something bad even if it's an accident you feel guilty. Try to forgive yourself and say to yourself i couldn't prevent it, it came out of nowhere so basically it isn't your fault it's the bunny's.

Keep driving.....rabbit isn't worth much, and they reproduce faster than anything. Hell by the time you get home the mother of that rabbit popped out like 5 more
