Mayday is on May 1 and was a Thursday in 1924. It is celebrated as a Labor holiday in many countries of the world but some have moved it to the first Monday in May which would have made it May 5. The US Labor day is the first Monday in September.

In germany was the election during the Weimar Republic..and that made the world changing..we have now Irak and Afghanistan as a result!!
